Frequently Asked Questions
Print Quality & Paper
What paper are the prints made on?
All fine art prints are produced on Hahnemühle German Etching paper. This is a premium, heavyweight (310 gsm) paper with a luxurious velvety matte finish. It has a slightly warm base tone and a distinctive mottled texture that gives each print a rich, handmade feel. This texture allows the paper to hold more ink, resulting in stunning colour vibrancy, deep blacks, and high contrast that beautifully capture the light and detail of the original artwork.
Why did you choose Hahnemühle German Etching paper?
I selected this paper for its exceptional quality and craft-like feel. It's one of the heaviest and most robust Giclée papers available. Its strength means the edges are less prone to fraying, and its textured surface ensures each print is a high-fidelity piece of art that honours the original painting.
What is the difference between a Limited Edition and an Open Edition print?
A Limited Edition print is an exclusive series where only a set number of prints are ever made. Each print is individually numbered (e.g., 1/50) and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Once the edition sells out, no more will be produced, making them collectible. An Open Edition print has no set limit; they can be printed indefinitely.
